Phil Ferrazano
Phil Ferrazano, 59, was born Jan. 10, 1950. Long Island New York. He moved to Florida at age 10 and has lived there ever since. Worked many years with his own construction company and then retired early due to service connected injuries. Phil was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for Valor medals for service in Vietnam and Cambodia. Served with the 9th Infantry Division.
He is a talented writer, songwriter and singer, performing a one man band in the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Clearwater, areas. He wrote his own Vietnam memoir a few years ago and a music Cd honoring his comrades.
His greatest accomplishment he says is his daughter, Michelle, a teacher. Phil also recently was blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, Sophie.
He enjoys entertaining and spending time with his girlfriend Evelyn. A woman who has bought song and music back into his heart. They share a house and a condo on the Gulf of Mexico. After Vietnam, Phil has always said- "There's no place like home."
