Hi Phil, just a recap my dad is Carl W Crowe, you wrote about him in your book and then sent me a copy. I just wanted to let you know I think of you often and pray for you. I have been listening to your cd on a daily basis, each time I hear the songs something new is heard. I read your book word for word. and had the privelge of meeting you at the Wall in Melbourne, Fl-2008- I am still in awe of the descritive words in the book, and with meeting you how down to earth and easy you were to talk with. have you written any more books, or more music? Thanks for the memory...i was with 2/60 From Jan/70 to Aug/1970 in the 4.2 Mortar Pl. In Tan Tru...i remember a little Vietnamis Kid call 'Charlie"..he was hanging around the base...i still have a Pic from him.

Hi Phil,
I was in A Co, 2/60 from 12/67 to 7/68, when I fortunately left the field for a REMF job in Long Binh. It saved my life; times were very bad for our unit after I left, and my best buds all died over there. Learned about your book from Frank Gaan, and will be looking for it. Best wishes, Ted

Phil I was platoon leader A 2/60 2nd platoon. Took over the platoon in May 1970 just as they left Cambodia. Will read your book.

Just finished reading your book.
Man, what a trip !
So much in there that I could relate to. I'm not a combat vet, however I know of the frustration with the VA.

This book tells the story of what many of us faced when we returned home. The author has done an excellent job in describing the problems he and others faced with the VA. Thanks Phil for being one of the point men! Excellent read, you will find it difficult to put down.
